If you are having sex with a child you are a pedophile. Just because you have not been convicted of a crime or caught does not mean that you are not a pedophile. You must take steps to control your problem RIGHT NOW!
DSM-IV Criteria for Pedophilia
(To be Clinically Diagnosed as a Pedophile all 3 of these must be true)
1. Over a period of at least 6 months, recurrent, intense sexually arousing fantasies, sexual
urges or behaviors involving sexual activity with a pre-pubescent child or children
(generally age 13 or younger)
2. The fantasies, sexual urges, or behaviors case clinically significant distress or impairment in social, occupation, or other important areas of functioning.
3. The person is at least age 16 years and at least 5 years older than the child or children in
Criterion A. Note: Do not include an individual in late adolescence involved in an ongoing
sexual relationship with a 12- or 13-year-old.:

I'd just like to point out that this site, while very commendable so far as it ventures, completely ignores that about 9 out of every 10 cases of child molestation (including most of the ones which remain unreported) are committed by a family member or a close friend of the family... someone the child knows already, and NOT a random stranger lurking in dark areas near playgrounds or cruising the streets in vans, seeking for an opportunity to snatch a child who happens to be alone. So long as there is this insane focus on and paranoia about "Stranger Danger", the problem in our society will remain essentially unchanged: the people most likely (By FAR) to offend, will remain in the shadows out of the spotlight, while anyone on the streets who so much as looks at a child sideways, will be in danger of inappropriate harrasement or suspicion.
